As it was so cold yesterday, did not wnat salad for lunch and as I would be having potaotes for dinner I needed a sauce for pasta. Used to make this when I was a student as its so easy to make and cheap.
This makes enough for 2
*Put pasta on to boil
*Chop up a medium onion, 4 spring onions half a packet of cherry/plum toamtoes and 1/2 red chillis (depends how hot you like).
*frylight frying pan and fry off above ingredients until soft then crumble in a veg stock cube add some water (to make it gloopy).
*Add in a dash of worcester sauce and then towards end add in some fresh basil - add more water if it needs to be looser but it has to be fairly thick to stick to the pasta.
*add to pasta and enjoy - very yum on cold miserable days!
