Hi. I'm almost at goal which I'm really pleased about - I've got about 8lbs ish to go :D
I started VLCD in october and haven't eaten out or had a drink (alcoholic) either.
I am now on CD 1000 and think 1200 is just around the corner for me.
What I wanted to know is, if you are on 1000/1200 do you eat out? what sort of things would you order? Would you 'treat yourself' to a glass of wine? I was just thinking that it has been a l-o-n-g time since I've been out socially for a meal and it's my birthday soon (ish). Is it something I should be worrying about or do most people find they can occasionally go out for a meal and 'get away with it'
Cheers

Sorry I am only on week 3, so I can only give my advice on what I would do... I would say because you are already on 1000, and moving to 1250. As long as it isn't every night yu are going out then have a nice evening.. you can limit the damage by having a chicken salad etc and have a nice glass of wine too... at the end of the day, you have to get ready for the real world out there, which is full of restaurants and alcohol...

I would do it on special occasions just don't make it a regular occurence, as long as it is planned for, then you won't go off the rails..!

Have a fantastic time, whatever you decide to do..

Love

Hi fiojam

Well confession time here (and the reason I am now about 4 lbs behind you.

Occasionally I go out for a meal. Occasionally i have a glass (or bottle of wine).

I have found one bottle of wine slows loss by about 1 to 2 lb s for a week. 2 glasses of white wine - relatively easy to get over - makes about half a pound difference.

Oooo but it is good socialising and feeling normal. I have 8lbs to go - and it is much harder than the first 3 stone. Good luck
