Eating out nightmare!!!!

Am looking over the menu for a meal out tomorrow night and it's sooooooo hard!!!! I've decided to go for vegetable fajitas! I've pointed 11 points for the tortillas and am banking on the veg being no points but have added 3 points for oil etc and 2 points for sour cream, so what's that 16 points! Am happy with that choice but it's the desert i'm stuck on, I think I'll either have the banana split with no cream or just have a nice coffee instead of a desert??! I used to have the fudge cake which really is heaven but at about 22 points I just can't do it! I didn't lose any weight last week and really want to lose 1-2 pound this week!!!

Hello. Have you got the Eating Out guide? Veg fajitas are 20 points. There's no way I'd have a dessert when trying to lose weight. Stick with the coffee!! Boring as it is!! It's sooooo hard to be good when out for a meal!!

Urrrggghhh gutted about that!!!! Right better point it as 20 just to be on safe side!
I'd love to have a big fat dessert but not as much as I love to lose 2 lb this week!!! People are already saying things like 'oh one night won't hurt' and 'go on treat yourself', it annoys me that people put pressure on you when they know full well your on a diet!!!

It's all well and good them say one night off wont hurt but with me I spent far to much of my life already having one nights off - I don't know about you but im doing this diet to make myself healthier and thinner and we are not missing out when we don't have dessert - that's the reason im on the diet!

Im with Samantha, there's no way i'd have dessert when eating out when im dieting, when they all have their desserts and you have said no you will feel soooo proud of yourself while they are eating their puddings just you think about how happy you will feel on WI day. I bet you will feel so happy about passing up on the desert and come on here and let us know - have a great night out and say no to fatty puds and hello to a lighter you on WI.

Also ask the waiter for a jug of iced tap water with lemon and lime - drink that with your meal and it will help fill you up.

Yeah totally it is all very well them saying just one night off won't do any harm. It really will. I put on half a pound last week as I had a fattening take away and lots of booze thinking I would get away with it. But this week I lost 3.5 pounds even though I went out I chose wisely and took the car!! How triumphant was I when I got on the scales at WW on tues morning!! It's not worth it hun!!

Good on you - see you have the willpower so you know you can do it where as I just don't trust myself just yet to go out, im wanting to get a good weighloss behind me to keep me on track - going on a week tomorrow though so im already planning on how I can save points up for that and how I can have a great night out without the guilt and without the scales sts or going up. Is it Chiquitos your going to?

It's a local place called arbuckles, it's an
American diner type thing where the food is gorgeous but very generous portions! Thanks for all the support everyone!
