I have taken the plunge and joined a class tonight. I was horrified to weigh in at 15st 11lbs. Thats the first hurdle out of the way as i was a bit embarrassed to return to the same class as I've been 3 times this year already. The consultant was quite welcoming so that was nice. Totally focussed now and committed to the plan. I've ordered all of my shopping for the coming week online at Tesco so theres no rubbish in my basket.

Hi Diane, don't be embarrassed! You are doing it now and focused. I was 224 pounds (and am 5'7) but lost a stone and kept it off for a year and just couldn't get motivated for the rest. Am now on SW and enjoying it. Wishing you all the best of luck and look forward to chatting to you over the next few months xx

Hiya, I was in your position 1 week ago today, returning, tail between legs to class.

I've massively enjoyed my first week back on track, and have been rewarded with 8lbs off!

We can do it this time, specially with the support on here!

:)

Thanks ladies. My weight gain has been making me feel rather unwell, looking forward to shifting a few lbs.

I rejoined the same class last year for the ninth time. Never lost more than a stone before, but something clicked this time and I guess I was ready to do it. Now five and a half stone later I'm glad I did.
We are all human and the classes are there to help. Well done on going back and good luck, you can do it.x

Good luck! Shopping online is the way forward - we do the same to stop the pizzas and chocolate creeping into the basket!
