Exante bar and citric acid?

Hi ya, can anyone tell me why the chocolate orange Exante bar has citric acid in if we are not allowed it? I'm a but worried about eating them now? :-( and confused as they seem to contradict themselves by having a product that contains something we should avoid?? :-( x

Somebody else asked this and I think starlight said that it's just a tiny amount that won't affect us. But I'm not 100%
