Exante or slim and save? Which is better?

Hi all, am new to this and should receive my Exante bumper pack today, I know it works out cheaper then slim and save but there seems to be more choice with slim and save, so was just wondering what you guys think, I have about 64lb to lose, thanks in advance for replying

Why not order a sample pack from slim and save and see if you like the taste?

I ordered a sample pack and in currently mixing it up a bit an swapping an exante pack for a slim and save pack, been doing it for three days now, although I like the products I do very much still prefer exante, I like knowing I've had my three packs and that's it, with slim n save you need to have a small meal or extra pack, works for some but note for me, plus the exante bars are ALOT nicer

by the look of it slim and save will work out more exspensive, will do the month on exante and then see what my weight loss is like

I was going to change to slim and save because I really liked the idea of having the meals.....they are very very yummy!
But I didn't like much else and exante is cheaper so I'm sticking here for now.

I may change my mind next month and do a month of slim and save!
Both diets work out at about 600cals a day so they're pretty much the same.

Im doing a mix of the two Exante shakes/porridge and S&S mealpacks, having an evening meal is keeping me more focused and im not constantly thinking about food.

I've just ordered some of both - going to see which I like best.

Hope it's ok to go straight from lipotrim to S&S for a week then onto exante for a week... Ah well I shall see!

Ive done exante now for 25 weeks and l have lost over 5st :) I have ordered some s&s trial packs which arrived yesterday. Looking forward to the change and hope i like them.

Goodluck :)

People's tastes vary so much. I much prefer the S&S bars to the Exante ones, but you will see a lot of posts here saying the opposite.

The most important criterion for me is "what will keep me on the straight and narrow", and there are a few elements to that:

Which ones can I stomach for the next 3 months? If I hate the taste, I'm more likely to stop.

On the other hand.... which ones do I like too much? (I once ate 6 S&S bars in one go, on a bad day)

Which ones keep me from feeling hungry? For me it is the sweet ones. The savory ones like soups get my mouth watering and tummy rumbling. Somehow my brain/stomach expects a savoury portion to be larger, so the soup doesn't leave me feeling satisfied. Also the soups cool down, so you have to finish them quickly. I sip my lunchtime shake slowly between about 12 and 3pm.

Which ones am I less embarrassed by in public? Soups can be passed off as cup-a-soups at work. Bars are easier to eat if I am out all day.

Can I eat all the ingredients? This is important for me as I have coeliac disease and so have to have gluten free meals (most shakes, S&S bars and some W8 soups)

Everyone's tastes are different, and a VLCD is a VLCD at the end of the day: 600 - 800 calories, plus all the day's nutritional requirements. So I feel free to mix & match.

Sorry - long rambling way to say "it depends..."
