Extreme slimmers on TV!

Yes I watched it, it was great to see the weight loss. Lets hope they all get their operations to remove the excess skin. They must feel a lot better within themselves to have lost such a huge amount of weight. I cried at the end with the girl who was pregnant, all their lives have changed around dramatically.

My heart went out to Colin. He had lost so much weight, looked like a different person, but had all that excess skin. It was just so sad. I just pray that I never get to a point where I have to take such extreme measures like that. Just cant imagine what its like for people with such weight issues. I feel for them x

True. Thats how I was thinking. I usually get squeamish with surgery type programmes, but I watched this 1 for inspiration. The excess skin problem is I think when u have huge amounts to lose. I have atleast 4 stone to lose and Im not sure if I will have this problem. Have u been ok so far?

Hi Saddia. Watched the programme too. Unbelievable the difference in them after the weight loss. Like completely different people. I have a lot of weight to lose am already back at the gym. Don't want to end up with the excess skin problem like them. Very inspiring though.

Its great to hear ur gettin the support from ur partner. Thats really good to be gymmin 4 or 5 times a week. I will hopefully start the gym but I wanna lose a little more weight 1st, Dont wanna look like a dummy on the machines huffin n puffin after 3 mins on the treadmill lol!

Saddia. Don't worry about other people in the gym. They're not there to look at you, they're there for the same reason as you. If anything they will think good on you for trying to get fitter. You will probably really enjoy the gym once you get started.

I'm only doing 1/2 hour at the gym to start with and then will work up gradually. I enjoy the gym once I'm in there and luckily my hubby goes 3 times a week and is very encouraging about it. He lost over 2 stone and really toned up within about 6 months (and no dieting!). Shows it works!
