Fabulous weekend (I Survived!!!!!!!)

    Well what can i say? From the point of view of someone on CD I could have potentially just had the weekend from hell - But I survived it, morales and ketosis in tact!!!!!!!

    Yesterday morning I drove to luton at 6am to collect my friends from the airport (I live in portsmouth - its quite a trek) then drove us all to watford to see mutual friends. Friends requested we stop for breakfast on the way as they hadnt eaten...challenge 1!

    Anyway I needed something (had tetra in the car on the way but hadnt had enough water due to driving), however I managed to stick to just getting a black coffee while my 2 friends sat in front of me and ate full cooked breakfasts. Then had a tetra when i got back in the car.

    Got to mutual friends who had made fairy cakes for us all. Challenge 2! Managed to escape by feeding my daughter and not drawing attention to the fact I wasnt eating (my friends understand I am doing this, but I dont think they fully grasp the concept!!!).

    Anyway went out for the afternoon, then when we got back my friend had made a giant chicken curry from scratch...Challenge 3. I managed to resist!!!! Sat with my spicy tomato soup and watched them fill their faces!!!! And felt absolutely fine about it. They only let me off the curry on the promise I will go back when I am off the diet and let her cook for me!!! hehe

    Then went on to my grandad's for the night. My grandad makes amazing food and believes in trying to feed people every 3 minutes...challenge 4! Managed to convince him I wasnt hungry and tried explaining the diet to him, but he doesnt exactly go in for dieting! so kept offering food, but I did ok and had nothing but black coffee and water.

    Left my grandads this morning and went on my friends daughters 1st birthday party/bbq - challenge 5!!!! And left unscathed!!!! wooohooooo!!!!!!!!

    So feeling pretty god damn proud of myself right now :D Sorry if that went on a bit. Just got home, pee'd on a stick and still in ketosis (no reason i shouldnt be but I like to check hehehe)

    Thanks everyone - am feeling brilliant. I think I have my head focused on my daughters 1st birthday party, which is 4 weeks today. I am planning on eating that day. Not going mad, but eating none the less. And I would really really like to be under 20stone for her birthday...which means a 26lb loss in the next 28 days.

    With that fantastic willpower you can do anything!

    I just had an oriental chilli soup, which tasted like strong chicken curry without the chicken :jelous: and I hated all the bits in it, but hey ho, I only have one and won't get any more next week.
    Then I had a cappuccino straight after, and now I feel sick :jelous:

    Anyways.
    Good luck, I'm sure you can lose 1 lb per day up until then!
    With that willpower of yours you can!

    Oh no I had some!
    When I try a new soup I make half as soup, and then a few crisps, and decide which I like more.
    And I have to say I wasn't too keen on either :p

    So chicken and mushroom every day it is! :p

    The only other one I can abide is leek and potato, but I'm not too keen on that, it's not like I have to have more than 1 different flavour :p

    the only soup i can eat is spicy tomato... don't feel i can stomach the rest xx
