Fake profiles!

Why do some people on forums create a whole fake self, I was on a baby forum and some girls pretended to be pregnant and all sorts until her stories began contradicting each other, I have come across another one here, people really need too get a life , or lie a bit better lol.

Feel sorry for people who do this. No, it's not normal but people who are content and happy with their lives and themselves don't feel the need to pretend to be something they are not. It's probably a demonstration that something is wrong.
