    Hello all

Got in at about 11pm from friend's concert, both S and her cousin made kind comments about my weight loss. They are both very glamourous girls, so it was a great boost for me. Had a nice chat in the interval about lovely things like designer handbags (they indulge, I don't particularly?!).

Well done to everyone that reported their weight losses on yesterday's daily thread - I know that many of us wish for more and it can be very tough when the anticipated loss does not emerge. The important thing is that we are dieting and losing, we have made a genuine commitment to improving our health, lifestyle and personal image.
Good Luck - it will be a fantastic day because we are moving one step closer to goal x

    Morning BlingBabe,

I bet it was a great boost when your friends commented on the weightloss! I am really looking forward to that - mainly when I get back to Canada, as those are the ones who won't have seen me for months haha

I have my first weigh in this morning and not really looking forward to it due to TOTM! Feeling very heavy and bloated! Oh well!!

I'm also planning on starting the Couch to 5K challenge today, so hoping that might help with the weightloss in the coming weeks. Anyone else have an exercise regime they do while on CD? Do you think it helps with the losing??

Will let you know how I got on in weigh in....either way!

    Morning ladies,

I'm having another strong day especially after first WI last night.
Although the cappucino just will not settle, looking forward to having soup at lunch to get rid of the after taste.

Drunk so much water already i think i'll get through a lot today.

Someone was saying about not drinking too much water??
Is it that such a bad thing?

Hey Blingbabe, compliments are always a wonderful thing :)
Hayley, I think it's just important not to drink too much water in a short space of time, sip throughout the day.
Good luck with your weigh in Truth!

I'm having a quiet day as I have an assignment due in on Tuesday so will have to start doing that today. Hope you're all well x

Blingbabe - that was a lovely happy post to start the day with - thanks!

I'm going to have a happy day too. I am off to the doc in a fw minutes to ask her more about my diabetes - she said she thought it would go when I lost weight :) and I think she is right. The ketosis certainly seems to stop the high blood sugar and my sugar was at normal levels the other day! I can't wait to lose the rest of my weight and for her to say I am now officially NOT diabetic!
And of course - it's Friday - I have individual students on Fridays instead of groups so it's an easy evening of teaching. I also finish at 9:30 instead of 10pm :) hurrayyyy
I decided that yesterday's measly 2lbs is not going to get me down cos I am shrinking and I now fit into my lovely burgundy cord jacket and I intend to wear it to the Doctors :) in fact - I may just wear it all day cos it's freezing and my heating still isn't on.
Off to do a happy little dance over to the Doc .... bye folks!

    Hey hey!

So, I had my first weigh in today - which, as I mentioned I wasn't looking forward to! TOTM turned up a week early and I'm feeling very bloated! Plus I lost 5lbs in the week before I started CD just by watching what I ate!

However - I am very pleased with how it went!!

I lost 8lbs!! Plus 1.5 inches from my waist!!! YAY!

Well done Truth0406!! 8lbs is an amazing lost especially if you were already dieting before you started CD!

I'm normally on the maintenance board as I'm trying to maintain, but it's hard so have come here for a bit of inspiration! I need to find some of that focus too!

Off to drink a large glass of Sunshine Orange!:7834:

    Happy Friday everyone!

hi all, not posted for what feels like ages on the daily thread!
Nice to see your all still doing so fab! 2lbs off is 2lbs in the right direction so it cant be a bad thing!

I'm having a surprisingly good day today! I am finding the 1000 plan a lot nicer now than i did at the start and although i am having more fruit than the plan states, i'm enjoying it so i have no guilt.
Its also SOOO nice to kiss goodbye to the laxatives! :D I am back to being "normal" in that department (sorry if TMI) and its a relief to all as DH thought i was using them to lose the weight! idiot! lol.

1 of the blokes i work with just celebrated becuase i'm eating.i did point oiut that it was a CD porridge and blueberrys but he's still pleased! He is a really great bloke and has watched me shrink over the months so its nice that i have his support! Another bloke i work with commented that i have no boobs....to most, that would be awful, to be it gives me happy feelings! LOL!

Hope all the Friday weighers do well today! mine tomorrow so fingers crossed all!

    xx

    Hi everybody

Thought I'd pop in and say hello as I'm working at home today. Plus to share my good news that I found out this morning that I passed an exam I was convinced I'd failed... :winner:

It feels like I'm walking on air right now - I'm so happy! :D

And I've managed to get myself to Day 5 of my restart and so far, all is well. Got a bit of a headache which I can't seem to shift, but I'm most definitely in ketosis and my jeans already feel a bit looser.

Well done you lot for being a fabulous inspiration to me. I love the people on Minimins!

    Hello again

What a grand number of messages on the daily post, a real pleasure to catch up with.
Firstly, an amazing loss of 8lb -well done truth, particularly as you were so not expecting it.
And another strange occurence Suzie - passing an exam you thought you had failed, what a welcome surprise, you obviously did the right preparation beforehand and/or knew your topic well.
Hope that DD is feeling better soon, summayah.
Mrs. Essex - you are looking rather trim in new photo!
Watching some rather blingy handbags on QVC right now, Kathy Van Zeeland range. However, my local TKMaxx (Ilford) has lots at seemingly significantly cheaper prices (possibly last season's so different colours and slightly different designs)
Trying not to buy, just sharing info!
Scales don't seem to be moving, which is ok as next weigh-in is Saturday 31st and I know from this site that we will get STS or little losses sometimes.
    Pleased its the weekend x
