Hello everyone,

I had my first weigh-in last night which was a day early. I've lost 7lbs in 6 days so I'm just plain delighted. I'm down to 14st4 now so still some way to go, but I'm hoping to lose 5-7lbs next week to take me into the 13s.

I have a holiday in June and my CDC said I could be under 13 stone by then. I've not been under 13 stone since I was 22!

I'm feeling really good today - full of energy and loving this diet. I've also been looking at loads of fashion websites today thinking of all the clothes I could wear in the future that I'd never allow myself to usually.

I've also got a pair of jeans hidden away at home that don't fit and I just love. They're big 1970s flared numbers that I couldn't bear to throw away, even though I've had no chance of wearing them for years! It is my aim to slim down so I can wear them again and I feel sure I can do it now.

It got me thinking - has anyone else got a certain outfit they keep as a motivator? Or something you grew out of years ago but can't bear to part with? Or what type of clothes are you looking forward to wearing?

I think it's a good way of spurring me on. What do you think?

I also have a pair of jeans in the very back of my wardrobe that I would do just about anything to be able to fit into - its also been years :(

Generally though, would love to be able to wear 'fashionable' clothes thhis summer. Be able to expose flesh, look good and enjoy the sunshine (outside my backgarden).

I have always loved clothes but am ashamed to say I had given up as it didnt matter the quality of the clothes, I always felt I looked like rubbish.
I love 40's and 50's style clothing, but am aiming to be able to wear classic clothes, that look really good!
I have a size 16 dress in my wardrobe, I picked it up last year as it was reduced to a silly amount... I can't wait to fit into it (am down from 22/24 to an 18 now) but am looking forward to being in a size 16 more! And then eventually down to a size 12!!!
I have started to put money away, as for the first time in about 20yrs, I am feeling the pull of clothes shopping!

xx

I'd like to be able to pull off wearing fashionable clothes like all my skinny friends do... The belt round waist thing looks cool but would look ridiculous on me as i have and have always had a big bum. Humph. But to just not be the fat friend anymore would be good. To be able to go clothes shopping with my best mate rather than just skulking off on my own as too ashamed to show my size to her.

hmm I don't have a particular outfit that I want to fit into, I think I'm more I want to be able to walk into any high fashion store and try things on, rather than just looking at the accessory section.

Also being able to fit into my sister's clothes or my mum's clothes would be awesome - they are both very stylely. :D

I got this amazing size 16 sequined vest today (but i will be able to wear it when i drop to a 14 and 12 as it would look great cinched with a belt too) and i would love to be able to wear it with leggings and heels and my new white blazer and look amazing and not be self conscious. when i get a bit down i picture myself in that outfit and it immediately perks me up!!

visualisation is key, i also picture myself relaxing on the beach in swimmers when i go back to australia, unlike when i used to wear jeans on the beach in 40 degree heat like i used to!

I dont even know where to begin there is soooo much Id love to just try on to see how it would look on the new me ^^
As for clothes I already own, I have a denim jacket that I wore often when I was in Tokyo 2 years ago. I lost lots of weight while I was there due to the healthy food culture and it didnt even take effort.. However in the two years since I got back the weight came back aswell and I havent been able to wear the jacket for ages. I really like it alot so I cant wait to fit into it again, especially since fitting into it would mean having reached my thinnest point in my adult life again (^ω^) Everything smaller than the denim jacket equals a new world of thin-ness for meヽ(^o^)丿

hi, i dont really own any clothes id like to eventually fit into, just take it as it cums, however, the last couple of years every summer i have been miserable n felt crap, mostly because i looked aweful, fat arms, legs, tummy, could never wear a strappy top or show my legs off etc.
in september me and my OH and another couple are going to cornwall and i would love to be able to sit on the beach in my costume (hoping bikini lol) and not give it a second thought, to be able to walk around shops etc not thinking about what other people may be thinking about me.
xxx
