Fasting on consecutive days

I'm new to this.... I lost 7.5 stone last year but have been yoyoing with a stone since December & decided to give this a go. I've bought the Michael Moseley book but admit I've not read it just skimmed & although I know it doesn't recommend consecutive days my mum is doing one from the daily mail & she fasts 2 days together. It would work for me this way. Any advice?
 
Thanks for your reply, I've decided to do Monday & Wednesday or Thursday cos I can't imagine now 2 days running. And thank you I'm certainly happy with my loss
 
Have gone for Monday & Wednesday & although I only fasted one day last week I'm 7lb down from last weeks Monday weigh in but I had gained 12lbs in 3 weeks so some of that will have been water & some totm weight but I'm still very happy

Thanks honey, I'm actually feeling very in control but will be honest & say my stomach is rumbling a lot right now lol

Yep it is & I'm so looking forward to breakfast! Official weigh in this morning was 11:10:6 so that's a loss of around 5lb since Friday & 9lbs since I started last Monday. Weigh in from now will be a Tuesday. I'm now only 5lb up from my lowest 8 weeks ago & 10.6lbs from my goal. I'm feeling very in control & am liking this 5:2 thing lol... I will say though i'd gained a lot very quickly & it does tend to come off quickly when I do that so I'm expecting it to slow right down now but of I can lose 1lb a week every week I'll be happy & where I want to be when I go on my hols
