I know you should give a diet time to work but having real problems with losing any weight so far with the diet i'am on.
Want to lose 1 1/2 stone but of late seem to look so bloated that its depressing.
I've been on slimfast now for 3 weeks and it doesnt seem to be working for me as i'am always hungry and more importantly not losing weight.
Maybe its time for a change of diet but unsure whats going to work for me as i do tend to eat the wrong food, especially when i'am hungry.

Just wondered if anyone has any idea's of a diet that perhaps they are on or have been on thats worked well for them that perhaps i can give a try.
Also any useful tips on why some people get so bloated and how to get rid of the problem would be great.
    Cheers all.

I would suggest Atkins. I've lost ten stones by low carbing and kept them off. I am almost never hungry because Atkins allows us to eat a lot. Too many carbs tend to cause cravings in people who are sensitive to them. I am one of those people!

I don't eat meat but if you do then Atkins will suit you even more.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do x

I would suggest Slimming World, as you can have your carbs and protien, plus a lot more.
    It works!!!
Good luck in whatever you chose, but remember weight loss is maintaining for life and whatever you choose needs to be easy to maintain!

    Hi Mr 6pack2b,

It is frustrating when you're being really good and yet the weight doesn't seem to come off.

As has been suggested above, why not try simply calorie counting/healthy eating? It's a great time of year to diet like that as you can fill up on all the healthy stuff - salads, fruit etc. - and not feel hungry.

I've always had a problem with bloating too and in recent months I worked out what was causing it - carbs. Bread in particular bloats me up something chronic. I had a pizza a couple of weeks back and the whole of the next day I felt fat and bloated. I avoid bread 95% of the time now, it's an occasional treat, I don't really bother with potatoes anyway, and I keep pasta to a minimum.

I would also recommend drinking lots of water to flush your system out and keep you, ahem, regular ;)

    Good luck!
