Feel good factor!

Hi all.

I just need to share this with someone.

I have a long term weightloss goal and have broken it down into little chunks to keep me going. Today, I achieved some goals I didn't even know I had.

Silly little things that I hadn't thought of, but when I realised them I felt pretty damn proud of myself. For the first time in years I am starting to believe that I can do this, I can govern my weight and not the other way around.

These are the thing that happened:

a) Size 16 linen pants went on
b) My BMI now apparently means that I am no longer morbidly obese
c) At 12 Stone 10.5lbs I am the lightest I have ever been in years.

Small things I know, but they have really made me smile.

Wishing you are some of these mini victorys too.

Well done sometimes we have to take a step back from the big picture just to see how far we've come! xx

None of those achievements is small! Congrats!

I like to have a clothes trying on session once a week. Although now none of my old clothes fit me...this shows I am smaller than I have been since I came to this country 14 years ago. Even my wedding dress will now be too big.

My next goal is to get to a BMI of less than 25. Just 3 pounds away...

It's the little victories that help me survive this.

Yesterday I wore a shirt I have never worn and I've had it since 2006/7!!! And it's a little baggy already.
