Feel great, Can't wait for WI

Well im almost at the end of my first week and i can't wait for my weigh in tomorrow night. I have not exactly followed the SW diary etc, but i already know how to eat healthily so i have been choosing the healther option, been getting some good fish, chicken breasts, lots of veggies etc. I have controlled my portion sizes too and suprisingly ive not been able to eat the whole of the meal, i ahve managed to stop myself from over eating, stopping when full. this i am very proud of.

I love my food and i don't have to be hungry to eat, if i smell something that smells delicious i will eat it even if im not hungry or if ive just eaten, but this week i ahve stopped myself from doing that. I have cut out all of my sweet foods; no crips, sweets, cakes or anything of that sort (not that i ate lots of them anyways) and i ahve been counting my fat intake, i ahve decided to limit myself to only 16g of fat per meal, but im finding it hard to actually find 16g in each meal so i have been having way less than that.

I bought myself some scales last friday so i could keep a check on my weight throughout the week and when i weighed myself it told me i ahd lost 7lb :eek: that was in just 2 days, so i weighed myself in various places around the room and in my house and it came up with rediculous amounts of weight loss/gain, at one point i even lost a whole 14lb lol. So i took them back and got the weight watchers scales instead, they seem more consistant and reliable. They ahve told me that over the week i ahve lost around 4-6lb. and when i move them around the house and room they say the same thing, give or take half a pound. Im really hoping they are right because seeing this massive weight loss is giving me the drive to keep going.

tomorrow when i have my weigh in i will check my weight there then check my weight at home to see how it matches, then if my scales are out by a few pounds i can take that into concideration when doing further checks.

Anyways, so far so good for me, i only want to lose about 3 stone and i need to lose about 1.5 of that by may next year so i can fit into my bridesmaid dress. Im just hoping i don't have to take my fabulous new years eve dress back to the shop because it is too big because i don't have the reciept anymore lol.

however, i have to ask. it doesnt really sound like your following sw the way it should be, as your taking into account fat contents and portion sizes, aswell as cutting out alll your treats. Dont get wrong, it all sounds very helpful, but it almost sounds as if your paying to follow your own eating plan? please correct me if iv mistunderstood..

Yes you could say im paying to follow my own eating plan, but i dont think of going to the groups as paying to lose weight etc, i see them as support, going there gives me the drive to lose weight, i want to go there each week and see that i have lost weight, the others in the group know exactly why im doing it cus they are too and they support each other in reaching that goal. If i didnt go to the group i would probably give myself excuses as to why i should eat those wotsits or why i should have that huge bag of sweets. I don't want to go to the group the following week knowing i cheated myself into gaining weight. If that makes sense.
