Hi,
I only actually joined this site properly yesterday but I am really loving it..

I am on my 7th week of sole source and in the 6 weeks I have lost 2 stone.. (I have not put one bit of f--d in my mouth and feel so proud).

I feel 100 times better I have so much more energy I cant walk enough...

Yesterday I was at work and left my car at the station to get the tube and on my way home I decided to leave my car at the station and walk the 25 mins home which meant I had to walk again this morning to the station .. I feel like a different person.

I have had comments from friends.. Especially one who is pregnant and she said how are you getting on I said great I have done 2 stone in 6 weeks and she said Oh so I will be the only 'fat' one after I have had my baby!!!!
Well this has made me more determined than ever... I would only ever be happy for people I dont get it!!!

I have been out socialising loads, out for dinners and lunch and drinks and have not cheated at all just sat with my shake I cannot believe its me that I have been able to do this!!!

Anway enough going on I just wanted to let it all out thanks for reading if you still are :):):)

It hard being out isnt it, but you should be proud of yourself resisting all that temptation, makes you feel good afterwards, i know it does for me. Good for you with your loss, keep up that strong motivation its good for us all to read

Know just how you feel honey, I was/am so mad about CD... feels like it has turned my life around for me. I do know what you mean about the weird comments too, I guess some people have their own weight issues and they can't always be pleased for us... but hey, that's their problem, not ours!
Anyway, just wanted to say, loving the positive vibes!

Well done on your weight loss so far-great work!:D I mentioned to someone at work that I was on CD this morning, who has lost a lot of weight herself and all she said was 'oh so it's just shakes and bars then? My nutritionist says that those diets don't re-educate the way you eat and you end up just putting all the weight back on again.' Now I know for a fact that she's had to cut loads of food from her diet-drastically and, while that might be good for her-it's not for me. I'm a terribly fussy eater and I would starve to death on her 'healthy eating' regime. I would have liked just a few congratulations for losing 11lb so far-but as far as she's concerned I'll put it all back on again the minute I'm off this diet!

I've heard this too, but I'm sure we won't if we follow the plans. Have a read of the CD maintenance thread - it's really good to see what's coming up next.

You know what? For every negative comment I've heard there's been more positive. No matter what diet someone is on, if they go back to how they used to eat they're going to put the weight on again. She's happy with her new 'healthy eating' but to me her diet is still terribly restrictive. She's wrong about not re-educating myself about food too-I've learned that I have a hell of a lot more willpower than I thought I did, that times I thought I was hungry I was probably thirsty and even that I don't miss chocolate!:D That's in 2 weeks-how much more can I learn in 6 months!
