Feeling Guilty after Saturday binge :(

    Saturday was my 6 year anniversay i had lamb chops for breakfast.. we went to nandoes i had chicken and rice and coleslaw then we went pictures i had a ice junkie and large popcorn then we got home at like 7pm by 10pm i was hungry again we ordered a Chinese i had chicken chow mein and chicken balls ...i feel super fat Sunday i eat the remainer 4 chicken balls and a small grille cod ...i feel guilty to eat ...help :( i added the cals and it came to around 4000 i know we dont count cals at slimming world but i was keen to see how much I eat it is enough for 3 days worth of food ..how do i get over this guilty feeling???:cry:

    ooh I had a bit of a saturday binge to - due to a mega hangover! We went to mcdonalds in the morning, then I devoured quite a few crisps during a Jerry Springer sesh as well!

    All you can do really is go "well that was fun!", draw a line under it and carry on! What ever you do dont carry on into a spiral because that could lead to a gain!

    I've forgiven myself, crossed out half the syns I had left for the week and I'm just going to do some exercise and hopefully i'll still be able to lose 1lb!

    Think you can forgive yourself to? :) x

    Thank you i hope i lose still i was good all week problem is i was ill and missed 3 days from the gym too!! also i am more scared to eat as i think i have eat enough for 3 days ! so can not stop stressing about it ..Thanks you for your helpxx x

    Don't beat yourself up about it, everryone experiences what I call a 'blow out' and its expected with celebrations etc and deserved! If you've been good all week and have had one naughty day, you should still be fine :)

    Continue to eat on plan, and definitely eat!! Don't feel guilty etc as this diet is not about that. Like philly_x said, draw a line under it and carry on. Don't dwell on it as it could lead to you underdoing all you good work for the week.

    I was you 1 week ago!

    I had a rough week and all week and weekend i binged. I felt really guilty about it and made excuses and it started a spiral.

    I went to WI and gained 4lb - please bare in mind that at most i lose 1lb a week and did a lot more damage than you over a whole week of eating and drinking.

    My point is you need to stop and think. As said above everyone has a blow out - all be it mine lasted a week but all you can do is draw a line under it and move forward.

    I had 2 choices after WI i could sulk about the damage id done and go and continue how i had been making it worse or i could remember that this is a plan for life, in life there will be those occasions that you need a blow out or just want one, especially as your was an occasion to celebrate you cant hate yourself for celebrating it.

    Jump back on the wagon be good until WI where you'll see where you stand and then you can move forward from there.

    I was the same the week before you pesty! I put on 3.5lbs n was gutted!!x

    I did the same - I've confessed on a couple of threads lol. Just need to put it behind you - start afresh and do some damage limitation - we all have set backs - the point is to move on and not give up x
