Feeling Like Rubbish [long] ..

I've been in bed all day just feeling generally rubbish, and I've been trying to dodge my first shake for as long as possible. I've only got chocolate and chocolate mint shakes left; flavours that I hate. At first they were bearable but now they are making me feel sick. I woke everyone up yesterday morning while I was heaving trying to get it down and my counsellor wont be able to come out until Sunday. :(:(

I'm diabetic and I could feel that my blood sugar was low so I waited a while for the shake to kick in and make me feel a bit better. But it didn't, and because no one has done a proper shop since I've been on the diet there was nothing sensible for me to eat, so I had some cheese and a few shreded wheat - dry. But I still don't feel any better. Just sick. So now I'm not sure if I should stick with the diet or come off of it for a while.

I'm not the fittest of people but I can climb the stairs without getting out of breath, but coming upstairs just now seems to have taken all of my energy and it took me ages to get my breath back. Today is day seven and I've lost a stone in one week which is great. But I don't know if I can stick with it when I'm feeling unwell and my shakes are making me feel physically sick.

Help :confused::confused:

If the worse came to the worse, couldn't you get a couple of Slimfast shakes/soups. Being a diabetic you will have to be very careful ~ your health is more important than the diet, so look after you then get back on board if you are up to it.

I can't add anything apart from making the shakes you have into chocolates (put in the freezer)..

Hope you are feeling better soon, and you look after yourself!
