I am so sad at the moment I know I have said this before and I know that I am the only person who can do anything about it. I have eaten enough to feed Great Britain this week because I am so down about losing my get up and go. But the more rubbish I have eaten the worse I am feeling and I need to stop. I keep dropping off to sleep which I did at my mums today and she said my snoring was very bad. I use to drop off to sleep all the time when I was at my biggest. I need my get up and go back.

Sorry ladies I just needed to get it off my chest I am so upset with myself and just feel like crying all the time about it. I am hoping after my holiday next week I will feel a lot better in my self for having a rest and be ready to face up to the big bad food demon.

Thanks Nanny :hug99: we are up on a big hill where we are staying and we will be doing plenty of walking. We are also up on the third floor where we are staying and there is no lift so we will be up and down the stairs like a yo yo too. Thanks for the hug it all just hit me at once today and I cant stop crying hopefully this is my breaking point and things will start to get better.

You sound so down, you really need that holiday and that will probably sort it all out. We all go through that stage and it's horrible when we are there but we get through it. Your get up and go will come come back. Share it with us and we will all be here for you x

I'm sure things will look rosier soon, you will be as fit as a fiddle when you get back! maybe a complete break from the plan whilst away might be just what the doctor ordered? You will be raring to go again then when you get back...... Just a thought :)

Sonia I suggest you take a complete break and really enjoy your holiday. You'll come back with much more enthusiasm and I always find if I'm really crap one week and then good the next the pounds melt away. Look how far you've come honey, don't give up now.

Ahh thanks ladies sorry I had the major weepies on me before. I feel a lot better for getting all the tears out of my system. I put on tonnes this week but I'm not saying how much its too bad. When I get back of my jollies my consultant said he would sit down with me and go over things. Thanks again xxx

Sorry sweetie!! Sounds like you definitely need a change of scenery to get your groove back! I know it's elementary, but the crappier the food we eat the crappier we feel. We all go through these down times babe, so don't make yourself feel worse by beating yourself up about it. Go on hols have a good time and don't worry about sw, but DO get as much exercise as you can while you are away to compensate!

Then come back and get back on the wagon!! We are here for you hon so don't worry about telling us when you feel bad becuase that it what we are here for.

I hope you have a lovely holiday!

Hey Son, Sorry to hear your not feeling yourself. Go and enjoy your holiday, a change is as good as a rest as they say. It'll give you time to clear your head and I'm sure you'll be back raring to go again at the end of it. Vxx

Have a great holiday sonban and worry about the weight when you get back. Do you suffer from sleep apnoea? That might be why you keep falling asleep during the day because you're not getting enough sleep at night. Might be worth asking the doc to refer you to an ENT specialist for some tests. Although it will improve as the weight comes off.:)

Aww thanks for the kind words of support ladies it's really given me a boost. I am going to go and enjoy my jollies but I am going to try and choose healthier options where I can. As for exersize if last years holdiay is anything to go by we will be walking everywhere.

As for the sleep apnea is that how you spell it? I dont know, once I'm asleep thats it i'm gone. Apparently I snore very bad.

I might go to the docs for a full check up does anyone know what happens at one? I assume they do the weight, height, blood pressure but I would also like to know what my cholesterol level is and if I'm lacking in any vitamins. Am I going OTT there hope not. I am also going to be tested for Coeliac Disease too as my little girl has it and they say a close family member usually has it too hope its not me.

Worth having a full check up just to be sure. They can only test for sleep apnoea (where you stop breathing anything up to 200 times a night:eek:) at the ENT Hospital and they wire you up for a night (you do this at home not in a hospital) and then they can tell how many times you stop breathing. The reason you get so tired is that you wake up momentarily every time and then drop off back to sleep again and don't remember in the morning. It's very common with people who snore heavily (like me:eek:) but they always say that loss of weight helps the problem.

I have 2 friends with sleep apnea and they snore like freigh trains! :) but are able to treat it with a combination of things. I would speak to your GP about
