This is possibly my 500th diary on minis but this one i intend to stick with. I spent the last few months doing Cambridge diet and I managed to lose nearly 7st on it. Since I came off it and started eating RUBBISH for a few weeks the weight has been PILING back on, not creeping, PILING! So I tried slimming world, got to day 5 and I had put EVEN MORE weight on. So I took a break from things, had a think about what I want to do, where I am in my life and decided to start Weight Watchers yesterday. I am loving it so far and enjoying eating lovely food and feeling, dare-i-say-it, HAPPY!

A little bit about me: Im 29 and I live near Manchester with my husband and 18 month old daughter. She has been a big reason for me to lose weight and stick with it. At the start of my journey, my heaviest weight I was 25 stone. I am now 19st 8lbs on my weight watchers group scales so I have managed to lose 5st 6lbs since I started my weight loss, and life changing, journey. I would love to be a healthy BMI but I am concentrating on my mini goals for now. My first is to lose 5%, so I need to get to 18st 7.2lbs. I am looking forward to achieving my goals and doing it healthily instead of the quick fix Cambridge diet I was using which has actually really messed my body up and made my relationship with food even worse than it was before. More about that in a later post im sure.

I am doing simple start so no points to count as yet. x

Welcome to ww and well done on your amazing weight loss so far.

I'm doing ww from home on my own and weigh in day is Saturday. The encouragement from people on here is really helping me as I usually struggle to get through the first week of a 'diet' but I'm just starting week 3.

    Good luck with your journey
    Nic x

Thanks for the comments everyone :) I weigh in on Wednesday morning but I did go to the Thursday night meeting at first so this week will only be 6 days. I'm really enjoying being on WW and dont feel deprived at all.

    Today's food:
b- porridge oats, low fat natural yoghurt & strawberries.
    L- 2x crumpets with beans.
D- Spag Bol, salad and 2x ww petit pan.
    S- skinny cow icecream.
    1x coffee with sweetener.

Having a fibro flare up today so I just want to sleep and my medication is making me woozy. But I'm just taking it easy and trying to rest.
