    Oh god.
    I've just had a binge.
Feel really bloody stupid. I've been doing so well.
I have knocked myself out of ketosis checked with a ketostix.
Trying not to beat myself up about it.
Only got weighed for the first time yesterday. lost 11lb.
How long will it take to get back into ketosis?
do you think it will stop me losing weight by next Fri?
Feeling abit deflated guys to be honest.

I had a lasagne ready meal, bowl of frosties, little fairy cake that my daughter made, a breakaway choc bar, and a areo mint pudding.
Don't ask me why those things it was just what I spotted and just went for it!!
    once I started I couldn't stop.
    Probably about 1500 calories there.
I won't be doing it again believe me!!

    YOU CAN DO IT

Hi know how you feeling happened to me in the past and you feel really bad. Move on though and forget it, can go back into ketosis pretty quick. I still lost weight even though I had a blip but put it behind you and look forward:)

Forget it and move on, I'm sure the majority of people here have had a blip of some sort during their CD journey.

Tomorrow is another day so promise to be 100% and take one day at a time :gen126:

Hiya Jambro - this is my second time on CD and last time i cheated every week without fail and it affected my losses big time and in the end i stopped doing it.

I dont want too see you keep cheating and beating yourself - dont be me, i was so dissapointed in myself and dont ewant you to br hunni.

Will take you 3 days to get back in - please drink extra water it will help flush out your system again - keep busy, keeping busy is the most important for me and helps take my mind off food porn.

Take care. no more cheating - its too pricy to cheat anyway!

    Im only back home now,
Jambro any time ive had a blip it was the same .

One nibble leads to a frenzy! lol

But as long as we learn from it. I second the drinking water to flush it all out and most important thing is not to let this little blip domino into a blip that lasts a few days.
Just dust yourself off and on with it. You can do it! x x x x x x

Hi Jambro, i did exactly the same thing the day after my first weigh in! and felt exactly the same as you did. Its really demotivating, but when i went to my cdc she was brilliant and made me look at it as a positive experience, and now in a weird way i'm glad i did it because i know i won't be doing it again in a hurry and feel very focused now. It has also made me start addressing my underlying issues with food.
So although i didnt lose last week(i gained 2lbs), i now feel my heads in the right place, and i'm finding the diet a whole lot easier.
Hope that helps a bit hun, don't dwell on it, look forward xx

    Thanks for your support guys.
    I really appreciate it.
You are all absolutley right, I won't be doing it again!!
The feeling of guilt, failure etc feels worse than the enjoyment of the food!
I wish they could bottle that feeling and when you feel like eating take a 'guilt' pill and that would stop us!!
I think it was because I had the day off work and was watching a film (thats rare for me to find the time)
and just wanted to nibble on something but it just got out of control
Anyway, I have woken very positive and determined today.
    thank you all again x
