Well here goes. First day on SW and have tried everything else but never this so lets see what happens eh. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE anyone thinking i'm doing it wrong tell me as I am slightly confused about this diet.

MONDAY - RED DAY
Breakfast
28g Fruit'n'Fibre and 1 scan bran (HXb), Cheese Triangle (HXa) 1 banana, 1 tea, 1 coffee (all milk from HXa).

Lunch
Chicken salad of fillet, lettuce, onion, cucumber, toms, beetroot, splash of balsamic.
2x Ryvita sesame (HXb) & 2x cheese triangles (HXa).

Dinner
Chicken fillet, Swede & turnip mash, carrot & green bean with crispy grilled bacon bits.
1x 330ml glass Red Wine (10 syns).

Snacks
1x satsuma
2x Ryvita sesame (HXb) with 2x cheese triangles (HXa).

I found it a lot to eat but needed it. Will find the lack of alcohol the hardest I think x

TUESDAY - RED DAY

Breakfast
Fruit'n'Fibre & Scan Bran (HXb) with 1cheese triangle (HXa), Milk (HXa)
1x Banana

Lunch
Chicken Salad
Melon & Onken Strawberry Yoghurt

Dinner
Ham, Egg & SW Chips (100g = 3.5 syns)
1x Bread (HXb)
Chocolate Mousse (0.5 syns)
1x Glass Red Wine (8.5 syns)

Snacks throughout day
1x Apple
1x Satsuma
2x Tea
1x Coffee
4x Btls Water

Feels like I'm talking to myself but at least I have a record if it doesn't work eh!

Hey there, your not talking to yourself :) Always a good idea to write it all down though! Afraid i only do EE and have nooo idea about red days! But looks good to me.
Mmmm... ham egg and chips! Might have to have that on the weekend, only thing with EE is what superfree to have with it?? lol. xx

Hi. Thanks for your message. Think I should have superfree too with dinner but had all superfree at lunch apart from my free chicken and I had loads so hoping that will be ok ;-)

WEDNESDAY - RED DAY

Breakfast
Bacon, Quorn Sausage, Toms, Scrambled Egg, Mushrooms - all cooked in oven with no oil.
Melon with Strawberry Onken FF Yoghurt. 2x tea (milk from HXa)

Lunch
Chicken Salad with homemade salad dressing of ff fromage frais, lemon juice, garlic puree, hot paprika - yummy.
1x diet pepsi
1x chocolate mousse (0.5 Syn)

Dinner
Chicken Kiev (2.5 Syn for breadcrumbs) (parmesan from HXa) with cauliflower, broccoli and carrots.
1x Glass Red Wine (8.5 syns)

Snacks
1x Nectarine
2x Alpen Light Bars (HXb)
1x diet pepsi
4x btles water

Should I be def having 2 lots of HXb's coz I haven't yet today but am stuffed and don't think I could fit any more in tonight before bed?
I honestly don't believe so far that I'm going to lose anything coz I'm eating so much more than I'm used to :-\

Courgette, Mint & Parmesan Cakes (HXa)
4 x btles water

So so so so bloated today. Really uncomfortable and really need a poo. Haven't been since starting SW. Sorry to be crude but really quite painy, stinky and bloaty. Anyone else feel or felt the same at the start?

I've actually heard this quite a bit when people start a healthy eating plan, some will say it's due to the decrease in the amount of fats that you're consuming. Healthy fats and oils keep things moving along :)

Also, lots of water and Magnesium rich foods.

Hope it gets better soon!

FRIDAY - RED DAY
Breakfast

Lunch
Chicken, mint and Courgette cake salad
Grapes
1x diet pepsi

Dinner
Garlic and Lemon Chicken with green bean and cherry tom salad.
Melon with FF Onken Vanilla Yoghurt .
400ml Red Wine (12 syns)

Snacks
2x Alpen Light bars (HXb)
1x diet pepsi
3x btles water

Craving a bit today for anything I'm not allowed. Never used to drink fizzy drinks til i started this. Think its the sweetness even tho they're diet.

Still surprised i haven't had more alcohol too. Gotta be done tho x

SATURDAY - RED DAY

Curried butternut squash soup
1 x wholemeal bread (HXb)

Snack
1x alpen light bar (HXb)

Dinner
tiny bit of beef stew
toast and marmite (HXb)
Filo pear tart (3.5 syns)
1x glass red wine (8.5 syns)

Dinner was rubbish and have no idea why. Just did beef stew in slow cooker but beef was not nice and soft like it should be. It was cooking for about ten hours!!!! And it was lean casserole beef do had knows. Feel quite crappy tonight. Teary and emotional. Strange x

Well 6lb lost..... Very happy but due to constitution since starting SW I really didn't feel like i'd be 6lb lighter! I am in so much pain today. Really windy and really need a poo!!!!

This meatball curry if on red is syn free from an SW cookbook I have. Its gorgeous.

I still feel very lonely on here you know :'(

Hi there i believe it is quite normal to have constipation and be windy, great ways to combat this is to have some high fibre, healthy extras, the ones with 2f, (ff) in the book and lots of water will help.

I find garlic makes me very windy, but as long as i drink lots of water the constipation is a short lived thing that happens at the beginning.
