    morning all.
well ive decided to try to make some of the recipies on the recipie thread so i bought some flax , im a little confused though as ive bought linusprout sprouted flax powder, sais its 100 % golden sprouted flaxseed powder , well my problem is this , on the recipies the cabs are really low but looking at this the carbs ar 37g per 100g with 21g of dietary fibre , so do i have the wrong gear ? sounds a bit high for the carb g given in the recipies , so thought id check the oracle first :0)

Did you get the 0 carb maple syrup woof? That's the one I have - I've only dipped my fingers in it so far but tastes lovely. Have ordered pancake mix from Avidlite so looking forward to trying it.

Thats the flax powder I have too. It is high if you think about it per 100g, so I only have them few days a week. Mind you the recipe I used is for 1/4cup and I don't think thats 100g. They haven't knocked me out of ketosis either.

I don't make anything with the flax meal, just add a spoonful to stews and soups, or just sprinkle a bit with olive oil over salads.

Right, last night I made these muffins again but instead of the teaspoon cinammon I put 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt in, they came out paler and a bit garlic, so I flattened them with my hands and hey presto, mini garlic naans (of a fashion!), went ace with Jim's curry recipe!
