Day 1 - Red day

Breakfast

Strawberry Mullerlight yogurt

Lunch

Jacket potato (HEX B) with cottage cheese (Sainsbury's BGTY pineapple)

Tea

Jacket potato (HEX B) with bolognaise sauce (1.5 syns for splash of red wine and tbsp of tomato puree)

Extras

2 apples, packet of ham, 250ml semi-skimmed milk (HEX A)

Total Syns = 1.5

Syns left for the rest of the week = 70 - 1.5 = 68.5

Breakfast

28g porridge oats made up with water (haven't got any Scanbran in at the mo so I'll have to fudge that bit for now) HEX B

Lunch

Ham salad, Aptivia fat free yogurt

Tea

Bolognaise sauce (1.5 Syns as yesterday) with jacket potato (HEX B), cauliflower and broccoli, Aptivia fat free yogurt

Extras

250ml semi-skimmed milk (HEX A), 2 apples, grapes, ham, 125ml glass red wine (4.5 Syns)

Didn't really get around to having any - it was 11.30 before I sat down this morning... :)

Beef chilli (2 Syns) with large jacket potato (2 x HEX B) and carrots, Aptivia fat free yogurt

Extras

250ml semi-skimmed milk (HEX A), 3 clementines, 1 apple, Aptivia fat free yogurt (hmm, better slow down on those!), packet of ham

Total Syns today = 2

Syns left for the rest of the week = 62.5 - 2 = 60.5

1 oat bran (as part of Oatso simple HEX B), ham salad with 1 tablespoon of Heinz extra light salad cream (1 Syn)

Extras

250ml semi-skimmed milk (HEX A), clementines, 2 x Aptivia fat free yogurt, strawberry sugar free jelly

Total Syns today = 3

I'm sticking to mainly red days cos me and carbs have a love-hate relationship - I love 'em and they hate me... :D

Syns left unused = 32.5 - 17.5 = 15

Average Syns per day = 8 :cool:

Wow - I did it! :winner: Made it through a whole 7 days! Here's hoping the scales are kind tomorrow :cross:

Have (literally) eaten into my 'spare' 35 Syns. Won't be astonished if I haven't lost weight when I weigh in tomorrow - because having come off a VLCD, there's a strong chance I might gain anyway (if the last time I did this is anything to go by). But it's been wonderful to eat healthily for the past fortnight - and slow and steady wins the race, right? :)
