Forgive me MiniMins for I have sinned

    Hello All,

    Well they say confession is good for the soul so here goes....
    I had a huge blip! I have been reading all the posts but avoiding taking part...well I guess I was embarrased and disapointed in myself.
    I had been picking for about a week, I was suffering from 'smart-arse-itis' and thought I would get away with picking on chicken, which led to a few nuts, which led to a daily portion of nuts (its all protein after all:eek:) which led to tuna...and so on....
    Went for my weigh in on Monday and I've lost 1lb:sigh: I felt ok with that...it's still a loss after all, but then I got home and WAM...binged on biscuts....I had counselling tonight (private that I pay for separately) and discussed that I wasn't sorry...I enjoyed every bite...bla,bla,bla but then on the way home realised that it was all about comfort. as I had bad PMT and I let it win!
    I have now put in place a stategy to deal with it the next time my 'demons' possess me!
    I feel very rough, I have a headache, toothache (from way too much chewing gum!) I feel sick, I am out of ketosis...but...I have ended today having completed 100%SS
    Note to self...I must be honest with my CDC...I have been rushing in (well felt rushed!) getting weighed, grabbing my packs and saying "yeah yeah, I'm doing well" but I have been lying!
    I haven't been having all 4 packs
    I haven't told him about my picking
    I have not been drinking enough water
    I HAVEN'T BEEN HONEST!
    So anyway....what have I learnt....well....
    You can't cheat CD....you are only cheating yourself!

    oh dear!! Look its in the past now all you can do is forget about it. You should tell your cdc about all this he may be able to help you. You have lost 30pounds to date, dont wreck it all now. you lasted today and yo will do the same tomorrow just come on here, dont be ashamed even the best of us have the odd blip come on to mini's for a rant or whatever :)

    You've had a few rough and emotional days so ease up on yourself ok. THE most positive thing from all this is that you have obviously learnt a lot about yourself so now you know what you want to change to your benefit don't you?!!!!!

    It's a huge step finding your triggers, I remember one of mine, had a bad day and suddenly found myself stood staring into the fridge, it's all about catching yourself before it's too late, you've given yourself a smack on the legs, you'll know what to look out for and do what Leah says or she'll be after you and believe me, she's worse than Mrs Bossy from Bossyville xx

    Thanks all and especially thanks Lacey....I know exactly what I need to change!
    To stop thinking I know it all (little bit of this/that won't hurt!)
    To reach out and ask for help (my CDC...and you guys!)
    To stop being so hard on myself (I have not failed...just taken a wrong turning on my journey!)
    To stop the denial (stop blaming the hormones...I could/can still say no!)
    To stop seeing food as a 'miracle' cure (too much makes you fat and it doesn't make you feel better!)
    Here endeth the lesson.......for now:)!
