forgot my bar, absolutley starving so.....

i walked to covent garden market and had a wander, actually walked into a sandwich shop with paninis and looked at the menu and walked straight back out again.
I can do this. But i am flagging.
I dont think its emotional hunger as i normally get a bit hungry around 12 ish.
How am i going to last till 7.30 when i get home???

Are there any health food shops or boots/Superdrug nearby?

For absolute emergencies like this I would buy a Powerbar bar from Holland & Barrett (flavours are cholate or vanilla coconut). the formulation is very similar to LL bars but sweeter - so be careful they don't set off sweet cravings. Or a Body for Life bar (I know the Superdrug in Tottenham Court Rd has them but not all stores do). Or another protein bar that has good protein and less than 14g carbohydrate per serving.

These are usually the 'muscle men' type bars. watch the calories though. Some are very high because they are designed for after workout...

I'll have to look after work and hopefully will have gotten over my hunger by then. i will be going via victoria home so will pop into the boots there.

well done with walking out of that shop. that must have taken some determination (to put it mildly). havent really got any good advice but wanted to say u r doing really well. the time will pass regardless so ry to make it thru. the advice above is really good so i hope u find an alternative but if u dont...keep strong and enjoy a bar and pack together later. best wishes xxxxxx

It is very very likely to be psychological hunger rather than physical.

I never used to have any packs until after 6pm as I struggled in the evening and I was fine in the day.

Just glug the water and look forward to the super feast when you get in tonight.

Are you sure its not just emotional hunger? I literally never seem to get hungry on LL. On Sunday I had one shake about 10am, went out and didn't get home till 10pm - when I had to very quickly consume a bowl of soup and a double shake! Really wasn't hungry all day. Maybe its just me though - freak of nature! If it helps - I'm just starting my 9th week and it all just seems like second nature now - seems to be far too easy and I'm not even really craving food - good luck!

I think it varies from person to person. I do get hungry - properly physically hungry - on LL once or twice a day, most days. And I have never not been in ketosis. I asked my LLC about this and she said that some people just do feel hunger all the way through.
