Forty and not Fat Diary 2014

    Starting back with Slimming World tomorrow!!!

    I have done a food plan for the week, shopping first thing in the morning and I am so excited to start on my journey as I don't want to be fat and forty!! I am going to weigh and measure myself first thing to. I am a veggie so will do green days.

    Happy for any feedback :)

    Day 1. Saturday 4th January 2014

    B - Weetabix (b) and milk (a)

    L - Bread (b), Baked beans, 2 scrambled eggs.

    D - Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato Curry and rice (2 syns for curry Paste)

    S - Tassimo Latte 4.5 Syns


    Total Syns = 6.5

    Day 2. Sunday 5th January 2014

    B - Weetabix (b) and milk (a)

    S - 2 x Satsumas

    L - Bread (b), Boiled Eggs x 2 and Flora Light (1 syn)

    S - Banana and Mullerlight

    D - Fry Light Roasties, Carrots, Cauli, Broccoli, Sprouts and Gravy ( 2 syns).


    Total Syns = 3 syns

    Exercise = Swimming

    S - Mullerlight and satsuma

    D - Jkt Pot, Beans, 40g low fat cheese (a), salad, tomato, cucumber, Orange pepper, beetroot and boiled egg.

    S - Tassimo Latte (4.5 syns)

    Total Syns 5.5 syns

    Hi there!
    I originally joined sw to lose weight for my 40th bday and managed to shift 5 stones in 5 months.
    Unfortunately I'm back again with a bit to lose!

    How are you finding it? Are you going to group?

    Hi there

    Wow you have done brilliantly to loose 5 stone!!! Fantastic. Only a few pound to go, looks like you will do that in no time.

    I have done slimming world before, so I 'think' I know the plan. I am going it alone as the classes just don't fit in with my schedule.

    Do you have any tips?

    Thanks! Although these aren't my true stats anymore! Stopped smoking at the end of September and ate a lot to compensate! Think it's more like two stone now!

    Are you doing extra easy? My main advice would be to be honest with yourself and keep coming here no matter what! The best thing about sw is that it works!

    Have you got something planned for your birthday?

    S - Grapefruit, Banana

    L - HM Veg soup, Grapes

    S - Alpen Light x2 (b), Apple

    D - Potato Wedges, Beans, salad, cucumber, tomato, orange pepper and 40g reduced fat cheese (a)

    S - Curly Wurly 6 syns

    Total 6 syns


    Felt really hungry today? It was my first day back at work sat at a desk. So I think it was boredom too. Tomorrow is a ten hour day at work - so I hope that goes OK?

    I do a mix of all three plans. Have phases of not eating meat, but couldn't commit to being a veggie right now.
    Had a lovey holiday for my 40th. Took my family, parents and in laws down to Cornwall. Hired a very large house and had a brilliant time. It was perfect for me. Do you have any ideas?
    Can't believe that it was almost 4 years ago :).

    Ahh that sounds like a lovely 40th! We are in Devon, so spend a lot of time in Cornwall :)

    1st weigh in and I lost 5lb! I am please with that. I found this week good, planning always helps me.

    My first obstacle is tonight - a girly get together. Usually known for wine and nibbles :). I have decided to drive, so I need so stay off the nibbles. Wish me luck!
