Fried chicken?

In my carb counter book it says that fried chicken is 19 carbs. I'm assuming it is meant when it's fried in some sort of sauce? If I pan fry chicken in a bit of olive oil then that's alright isn't it?

I think in a lot of places they coat meat in flour before frying, maybe that's where the carbs are coming from? But yes, if you're frying plain chicken in olive oil, that would be fine :D

That makes sense, maybe that's what the book meant. Not very clear is it lol. At least I know it was home made and olive oil only. I can't believe how easy it is to keep to this diet/lifestyle. I did vlcd before so have had no headaches, I enjoy chewing but don't eat too much as all sugary and naughty foods have been cut out. I'm in love haha.
