Puddings Frozen Yoghurt

Anyone know how I can make frozen yoghurt without it turning to a block of ice??

I invested in an ice cream maker and used the common recipe of 0% fat free yoghurt, a pot of mullet and some sweetener. When it was mixing it looked like a great texture but when I took the tub out of the freezer I couldn't get my ice cream scoop in for love nor money!

Both me and hubby thought it was very icey and wondered if anyone has any ideas or tricks to make a better consistency?
 
If you put a Mullerlight in the freezer for just one hour it comes out with a really nice consistency. I didn't believe it would work but it really does! You don't have to worry about stirring it or anything, but leave it in too long and I think you might be in trouble!
