Fruit & Fibre

Hi
I am very new to all of this and am starting Slimming World tomorrow. Is fruit and fibre cereal allowed?
Would any of you mind giving me an idea of 'safe' cereals?
I am planning to follow mainly extra easy days.

Anything is allowed on SW :) You get 35g of Fruit & Fibre as a Healthy Extra B choice, otherwise you syn it at 1 syn per 20 calories as theres no free food in it.

According to my food optimising book b choices tend to wholegrain based cereals, includes fruit & fibre, sultana bran etc. 28g plus 1 ryvita is healthy extra b. My favourites are bitesize shredded wheat or new Kellogg's all bran golden crunch.

Just beware crunchy nut, special k etc all have syn values probably due to sugar content. If you're in a hurry 2 alpen light bars (b choice) & a Mullerlight is a good option. Hope this helps, all the best.
