I AM FUMING!!!!! And I don't care if he reads this. Do you call bringing a bowl of Doritos to the front room Supportive? And eating 4-YES FOUR- Tortillas with Chicken whilst the smell of the Doritos is driving me insane. And he is happily munching away. WHAT CAN I SAY?

But does he have to flaunt it in front of my face? I am on day 12. And he was taking AGES to eat them

Have you talked to him about how it makes you feel when he does stuff like that before? Men tend not to be very thoughtful but I'm sure he didn't mean to do it on purpose. My boyfriend has just announced he is going to make a chip buttie and he said he will let me have a chip. I quickly told him he won't! lol x

Kill him!!!! Just joking.
You have to tell him how it makes you feel. Your doing so well and he is a man, and probably has no idea.

oh, thats so mean:mad:

OH & I have agreed that we are not going to make food an issue at all. im going to try and have the attitude that food doesnt exsist to me at all. he is going to cook his own dinner and sit at the kitchen table instead of through in the front room in from of the telly with me. he is also going to do all the food shopping so thats a result. feel a bit bad because he works so hard, but wont be forever hey:)

I think that was mean of him. He knows your on a diet and its hard.

I understand your mad i would be too but i think you need to sit down with him calmly and admit you have to be around food but not have it flaunted in front of you.

If he carrries on with this type of behaviour then i would get seriously pee'd off but at least give him the chance first.

It's hard but do you know, when i started this my OH decided to take up baking and has made fudge, melt in the middle chocolate puddings, cheesecakes and various other puddings and him and our son have eaten them in front of me, but i'm so determined and have now got to the point where i look really good!! I think that it's there way of trying to make you eat cos they are afraid of this fact as it's opened up some insecurity's in him. Also, nothing tastes as good as slim feels!!!!

I'm 4 days in a really hungry - last night my partner asked me if i could pop down to his place and help him make pancakes. Seriously!! what is the man thinking! Like i could fry up a batch of pancakes and not at least pick at one.

I don't know how I've done it, but I've managed to get my head round this - I'm still doing all the cooking for hubby and it just doesn't bother me. (I do stick my finger in sauces etc. to taste, but I certainly don't want to wolf the whole lot down.) It IS something we have to put up with - every time I walk past a restaurant, I think 'mmmm!' but then I think 'I can have all that when I've lost the weight!'. The fantastic weight loss you get with CD outweighs any of the disadvantages imho - I'm gritting my teeth and just getting on with it. Slap up meals can wait! :)

I think that's because you want it more! I know that's what's helping me - I really really want this. (I sound like someone on X Factor, lol :D ) I was just expanding horribly and I knew that I HAD to do something before it really got out of hand. Going up yet another dress size just wasn't an option. (Existing clothing that no longer fits is also a great incentive for me - especially if it was expensive!) This is make-or-break for me - my last chance at finding a diet that works, and fortunately I found it! :)

I am in 100% agreement Jaycey. It is the last chance saloon for me I feel. 53, menopausal and getting bigger every week. It had to stop. I have spent most of my 40's and definitely my 50's being fat, unhappy, unattractive and totally unmotivated to join in. No more. It will soon be too late and I want some action before I seize up completely lol. By this summer I will have a body to be proud of and I will be doing things. In June I am doing a 12 mile walk for charity, something I wouldn't dream of at my current size!!! My kids will have to tie me down if they want to see me lol lol
