Garlic & Herb cheese stuffed chicken mmmmm

    Something i made this evening . . .was lush and very easy.

    Free on extra easy (using 1 HE)
    (i should imagine it is the same on original? i'm not familiar with that plan though)

    Basically for each searving i took a chicken breast, made a slit in it and stuffed it with boursin cheese (HE AorB - two boursin garlic and herb cheese portions - this equates to 32g if you have a big one to cut up) then wrapped it in lean bacon so the cheese stayed in.

    I wrapped each breast in foil, popped in the oven for 40 mins and hey presto!

    i searved it with syn-free chips and salad, the chicken was lovely and the cheese oozed out when i cut it open. good times!

    You're all welcome! i love cheese and creamy things, so i'm always trying to think of new ways to use my healthy extra cheese so i'm not missing out on my favourite things.

    "2 boursin garlic and herb cheese portions (6 pack)" looking it up, a 6 pack is 96g, meaning 16g per portion, therefore 2 portions amounting to 32g for your healthy extra, better to weigh it up from a bigger one as i can imagine buying it in portions would be expensive business!

    Hi

    I made this for my tea tonight and had it with slimming world chips and mushrooms sprayed with frylight in the same pan as the chips.

    God it was delicious. Much better than normal chicken kiev.

    Just so everyone is aware, Boursin freezes fine, always doing it when its on offer, so buy a six pack and freeze what you dont use!

    Wow this sounds lush I am gonna try it soon. Sounds like those Boursins would be good as an alternative to butter on steak as well.
