Garlicky Cheese & mushroom pasta

Not usually very good at making up dishes, but was craving macaroni cheese today and made this up with what was in my cupboards.

5 syns on EE.

50g pasta twists (or macaroni)
1 clove garlic, crushed
6 chestnut button mushrooms, quartered
25g low low mature cheddar spread (2.5 syns)
1/4 tsp original made mustard (negliable syns) or used dried
1 tablespoon dried parmesan (1.5 syns)






Cook pasta in boiling water for about 10 mins, then add mushrooms and garlic. Cook about another 5 minutes until pasta and mushrooms are tender. Turn off heat, drain pasta but reserve a little of the liquid. Tip back into pan. Put pan back on hob. Add cheeses and mustard and stir through until melted. Be warned, this is very garlicky.


Next time I will add some cherry tomatoes (didn’t have any today). I'm sure others might be able to make up variations on this.
