geo organics chickpea and lentil dahl...free??

    Found this in waitrose today :) is it free like the asda one?? Really want to try the loaf recipe using this, rice and eggs tonight :)

    Free or synned??

    I don't think so - look at the ingredients. If there is oil in it then definitely not syn free.

    All of the nutritional values, calories, fat etc are lower than the asda chickpea dahl values. It does have sunflower oil in the ingredients list but the asda version does have rapeseed oil in it too.....

    As it is lower in values....do you think I can count it as free??? X

    You would need to post the nutritional info and someone will work it out for you on the syn calculator.

    It is 409kj / 97cals, 4.7g protein, 14.1g carbs and 2.4g fat.

    If you count the chick peas as free, it is free on green and extra easy (5 syns on original). If you count no free foods, it is 5 syns per 100g on all plans.
