Going away for weekend. HELP!

Hi all

I am due to go away for weekend to Blackpool in 10 days.

Currently on SS but the weekend away coincides with AAM week. I have decided already to lay off the booze on the weekend away but the question is what should i eat whilst away?

I am going to be relying on restauraunts in Blackpool and part of me thinks a bit of a diet break will be nice but on the other hand I know it can be hard to get back on. In any case I will need to eat something. I am vegetarian so I need a low calorie, high protien, low fat and carb meal that is veggie and I can pick up easily in Blackpool.

Was thinking of maybe a Chinese Tofu stir fry type thing with no rice???

Hmmm that's a tricky one, Blackpool isn't well known for it's healthy lifestyle...all fish & chip restaurants! And especially hard and your a vegatarian, but if you can find a chinese then Tofu and Veg is probably the best option. It's the protein that's the tricky bit, there are probably plenty of salad options in Italian restaurants, do you eat eggs? A plain or mushroom omlette may be ok. I think the main thing is to avoid all carbs to keep damage to a minium....have a fab time!

Can you take tetra and bars so you can have them and then its only one meal to worry about? I went on a conference recently and had to eat what I was given for evening meal, so just made sure I ate the protein and veg but avoided the carbs. Hope you have a great time in Blackpool
