Going to give it another go!

Hi everyone!

I am looking for a few words of encouragement. I did Cambridge back in Jan this year as I was getting married in the June. I lost over 2 stone and felt amazing on my wedding day and everyone told me I did too!

Ever since my wedding (I am very happy with my husband that is not the probelm!) I have been feeling down, I think the wedding thing was such a high and then it was like dropping from a great height. I have also been unhappy in my job and have been returning to my over eating ways. Slowly the weight is creeping back on, I have put on nearly a stone now and my clothes are being to feel tight again and I know if I don't pull back the reigns I will be back to where I stared.

So today I made the decision to go back on Cambridge, I almost can't belive I am going to do it. As I previously said to myself that I would never do it again. But now I feel desperate and this time I want to get down to my goal weight of 10 1/2 stone at least.

I know I am going to get stick from family and friends who don't want me to do it, but hey this diet is the only thing that has ever worked for me. I know it is not the long term answer, but I just feel like I need to give it another go. Plus it is the Xmas party session and there will be lots of temptation.

Has anyone got any words of wisdom for me? I have got an appointment with my CD counsellor tomorrow and plan to start Monday HELP!

Hi there

You've taken the most important step which is deciding to give it another go. Try not to let others opinions deter or demotivate you, if you know it works for you then that is all the matters. You have taken the decision to do something positive and hopefully this will help lift your spirits. Well done for only putting on the stone and for addressing things before you put it all back on.

Wishing you the best of luck with your journey, do let us know how you are getting on.
