    hello everyone,

I am turning 30 this year and I need to lose a HUGE amount of weight!! I am waiting to have bypass surgery this summer, but I have decided that I am going to start losing the weight before then if possible!!

It has been suggested that I go on a carb - free diet, does anyone have any advice on this??

I have been so inspired by the stories and pictures that I have seen on here.. And, I hope that one day I will be someone elses' inspiration..

    Hello Rae

Last year I lost 12 stone with LL without having to resort to surgery. It also includes CBT so gives you the psychology to continue to stay slim and healthy for the rest of your life.
I know everyone is different but it has been a miracle for me.
Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Hi rae and welcome, I did well on Atkins, not carb free but quite strict. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.
