GRUMBLING TUMMY & REAL WAPPY

#1
Probably because I only had 2 shakes yesterday but today I just feel PANTS :-(
Its day 5 in the big b*gger house today & must say I struggled last night & tried to hint about a small takeaway to hubby but even tho he is still really hungry he is determined & really focused (thank god or I would of cheated).
Gonna need help tonight cos he is on nights. BUT I did go to coffee house after work yesterday & sit with a bottle of water while all my colleagues had teh usual mars bar topped frothy coffee. I was real proud of myself.
Thanks for listening to my rant

I found day 5 the worst for some reason. Stick to it until weigh in hun...as soon as you see those scales drop then that is all the motivation you will need. Its fab you have a good hubby to help and well done for resisting at the coffee house (sounds like 'Friends').

Well done for resisting that coffee thats a great achievement.. I can't say day 5 was bad but day 1,2,3 was bad which i expected and day 4 was so bad i cheated but the guilt kicked in and i got back on track.. I find it hard when the kids are all in bed so thats when i tend to keep myself busy by doing more housework or just having a bath. Goodluk when your hubbys on nights. Just remember the end result will be worth it x

Thanks hun.

oww yes a long soak in the bath of an evening is a fab way of diverting your attention from food (fab advice cuddily mum). Maybe thats a good idea for tonight whilst hubby is on nights.

Thanks hun
Luckily I have a 16year old who is 6foot 4 & knows I am not allowed to eat lol, I made him promise that no matter how angry I get or how much I bribe him he hasnt to let me open the fridge & he once wrestled me for some choc I was about to shove in my mush so I know he will tie me up if need be :)

What a fab son you have! My 16 year old isn't quite as tall but is freakily strong, not that she has to wrestle me for food, she resorts to comments like "well have it if you want to break your diet" in such a voice I feel incredably guilty!!! I works for me!

pmsl, thats a novel approach to weight management! You are doing really well, you know how much you want this, so diversions as well as wrestling are the plan you need to get through. When is your weigh in?

Oh and slapped wrist over 2 shakes, remember you are not working it properly if you don't follow all the rules, that includes not missing any shakes! (I did that on Friday and felt rough yesterday, so you can shout at me too!) x

Do ya really get to a point when you dont crave food or feel hungry, You are doing great by the way, well done

Hun if you have a 16 year old then get him to make tea! In my first week on the days I found it too difficult I made my eldest (then not quite 16) cook tea. It really helped me on my tough days.

It is GORGEOUS but am trying to think it isnt lol
Basically a gorgeosu cuppa with squirty cream on top & chopped up mars bar chunk floating on it. We do coffee every sat afternoon cos a new coffee house opened in our main st & I am a hairdresser so Saturday is chaos at work & its just lovely to wind down & take a breath before heading home to 4 kids. Anyway looks like its bottled water for me until I am not a chunkster :)
