yes it can is the simplist answer! just remember that you will loose the fat with exercise. your size will reduce but you might not loose the weight as quickly. this is because of the 1lb of fat and 1lb of muscle. they both weigh the same but muscle takes up less room in your body thus giving you inch loss.

Yes. As great things said, you will be losing fat, and gain very little muscle, but will be more holding water.

i think its good to set yourself up for when you finish cambridge - exercise will help you keep to weigh off (as long as you can put up with slower loses and have the energy!) Its all about what works for you!
