Hi All.......finally took the first step and joined the CD club. Was really weird..put off making the drink for ages this morning...think I am frightened of failure after so many with other diets.........but feel fine... drink(butterscotch) not too bad. Plus felt it took a time to drink, hence making me feel it was filing.
Am sat here sipping water and really thinking I can do this!!!! i know the next few days are going to be a bit iffy, but hope to be telling you mid next week am over the worst.
I really need your support and wisdom

I am on day 44 and NEVER thought I would get here. Just think to yourself - this will change the rest of your life and you will be SO much happier - we were at a similar start WI (see signature below) so hopefully my weigh in results will give you some kind of indication of how you will get on. Best of luck and take each day at a time - keep us posted xxxx

    hey doublejay,
I remeber my first few days like they were yesterday (yesterday being mid January in my case). The first few days are very hard. I remember really struggling with the shakes because while they taste nice there was some psycological thing happening within me with they being made with powder and water instead of the conventional powder and milk combo. Infact it really didnt make me feel great at all and i felt very ill for the first couple of weeks. But ive been on them for a few months now and still find them fine after all this time.

Am sure you will do great but dont worry if things do get to you a bit in the first couple of weeks. Gets much better after that.

You sound like your having no problems at all so far though. I was like a whining school girl for the first couple of weeks at home on the diet.

Worth the slightly less manly moments for the results though :)

Take care and look forward to hearing about your super weight losses !

Welcome. Im another who found it very scarey to start with. After trying many diets for years and getting nowhere. Now nearly 14 week in and 3st 4lb lighter, I havent been this weight for 14 years!! Im loving every minute of shopping for new clothes now.

Take one day at a time and keep knocking the water back. You can do this and very soon you will be reaping the rewards.
