Has anyone heard of Shirataki Noodles (Konnyaku)?

    No calories,fat,protein,sugar or carbs!!!

    The health food store near me does then too. Some are flavoured with squid ink, seaweed or a reddish one (beetroot?). They aren't packed in water so aren't fridged. The are either £1.75 or £2.75 a pack which I reckon would do about 4 decent meals.

    hmm i think i mite try adding some to my soups,give it a bit more substance! or maybe making the soup a bit thicker like a sauce....hmmm

    Can any CDC's advise if we are allowed these please???? Many thanks, as the whole thing sounds a bit tooooooooooo good to be true, oh coupled with the fact they probably taste and feel vile in your mouth - but hey anything's worth a try xxxxxxx
