Coconut flour as an alternative to flour. I saw on eBay and they claim it as low carb - is this true?

I've not used it but I've seen it in low carb recipes, so I guess the answer is yes, or at least, it is lowER in carbs.

DH has used both almond flour and carbquik to make yummy cakes and desserts - also dessicated coconut in some recipes. As always these things are lower in carbs but you still have to calculate what you make to keep the whole thing low. Better not to do on induction- on owl then you are supposed to test things out:D

I've ordered ground up flax seed. I'll give it a go and next week I'll look at the other flour alternatives.
