Have I slipped out of ketosis?

Hi everyone,

This is probably nothing to worry about, but I just wanted to be sure. I am on day 7 of LT and feeling a little hungry off and on today. I haven't really felt that since around day 4, so I am wondering if I could have slipped out of ketosis.

I am following the diet to the letter and pretty sure I am drinking 4 pints of water per day. Should I be concerned?

Hi hun, if you are sticking with the plan you should definately be in ketosis, hopefully just a craving that will pass xx
I'm day 6 CD and am still in ketosis but have been really hungry all day - tummy rumbling and everything. Par for the course I'm told. As long as it settles I think this is doable.
Have you got smelly breath honey? or a 'furry tounge'?? These are some of the best signs of ketosis!

Maybe you should get some Ketone testing strips the next time you have your WI, then you can always check if your not sure.

Ah your just up the road from me! You can buy them in any chemist, of if you know someone who is diabetic, they will have some!
If you are sticking ot the diet 100% then you are defo in ketosis. I am 18 weeks in and I often have times when I think I'm hungry but I just ignore my brain and have more water or a black coffee, it soon passes.
