AH WELL DONE becksie
I am so happy for you bet that feels wonderful and worth all the ups and downs and tough days.
For all my little group of newbies we all started together I have had a terrible month fell completely off DC
I have been seriously ill was rushed into hospital with a suspected heart attack three weeks ago, very scary as i am only 40 and would say healthy apart from an extra 2stone,
I had too come off the diet medical reasons.
But i will be back soon wishing you all well and so great too hear all your sucsess stories keep up the good work

Oh no! I hope you get well soon, I hope it wasn't as sinister as a confirmed heart attack and you get the help and support from your GP and Hospital. x

Crystel,
I'm really glad you posted. I have been wanting to get in touch, as you had gone very quiet, which was out of character for you.

I tried to send you a private message, but it could not be delivered, as you had not yet activated the private messages feature

As soon as you post 100 messages, you can activate the feature. I deliberately reached this goal, so I could message you! In one evening I managed to post 40 messages - it was exhausting  but also lots of fun. I posted comments on my weight loss, my boyfriends unhealthy eating, even on my cat's diet!

Hope you are feeling better xx

Thanks for all your words of encouragement, it really helps having some support, I have a couple of weeks until my 30th birthday trip to NYC which was the whole reason for losing weight, I'll be happy if I can shave off another couple of pounds but if I don't I've still lost over 2 1/2 stone which is more than I ever thought I could do.

Well done on the 2.5 stone! It's so good to hear how well you ahve all got on with DC - it makes my large amount to lose seem a realistic goal!

I hope you love NYC - make sure you enjoy it. I got so depressed about turning 30 when it was happening (about 3 years back) that I refused to do anything to celebrate! Then on the day I just sort of said to myself "what the hell was I getting so upset about??? I'm 1 day older than yesterday!" and got really annoyed at myself that I had refused all offers of doing anything special!

Thank you, it's been hard I got sick of the food. Decided to have days off from diet chef but still stick to 1200 calories a day. It's taught me about portion control and what to pick when going for meals out. My weight loss has been slow but hopefully I'll be able to keep it off rather than losing quickly and gaining it all back.
I'm dreading being 30 but it's going to be fantastic going to the USA, like you say nothing changes overnight but I still don't want to be 30!!
