  1. Due to having a Kidney stone yesterday which can I add gave me a lot of pain - It felt like I was having a baby ! anyway the doctor has blamed the diet and has said he would like me to come off until at least I see a specialist - because of this my whole family are saying that they would be happier if I came of and tried WW so I will be joining WW on Wednesday night! So good luck everyone will still be posting only on the WW board x :wave_cry:

    Cambridge Diet
I think that GP's that are not educated in CD always try to blame the diet for anything! You are doing the right thing by what your doctor says but I would not say it is the diet! I have to go for a scan for gaul bladder stones and my doctor said that there is no way the diet would have caused it! I hope you feel better sooon and I hope weight watchers go well for you! Just think you will be able to have real food!!!! x:)

Sorry to hear you are in pain but I think your GP is wrong. This diet encourages you to drink plenty of fluids. This is the normal advice given to people with kidney stones "drink plenty and try and flush 'em out" Sounds like your GP is blaming the diet just because it is the obvious change in your routine. I also don't subscribe to the infalability of Doctors theory. I was a nurse for years and the more I worked with Doctors the more I trusted vets. There are a lot of excellent doctors out there but medicine is like every other profession it has its equal share of chancers and assholes.Going to medical school doesn't make you god......you've got to make consultant before that happens

Best of luck with weight watchers and hope you get well soon.
