Just having a "night off" I have the most HORRENDOUS! toothache and I've cracked open the rozay! painkillers not working at all, went to emergency dentist today, but the pain is not "bad enough" to determine which tooth it is!! God i think its bad! have had no sleep for 2 nights! Paid 60 quid to the emergency dentist for them to tell me to take nurofen and panadol! fab! NOT - i'm so p'd off! cant afford 60.00 here and there! apparently the pain will get worse then i can decide which tooth hurts! then they can deal with it! ugh, nothing worse than toothache eh!

If the panadol isn't doing the trick rather than turning to the bottle (only makes things worse in the long run...toothache mixed with a hangover!!! OUCH!) try getting your hands on co-codimol (spelling). It's heaven in pill form when it comes to dealing with pain! Don't go nuts with it though apparently it can be addictive. You can usually get it over the counter in any chemist without a perscription. When I had pain with gall stones at the beginning of the week (my god I think I'm dying kind of pain!) it completely stopped the pain.
    Hope this helps FYP.

Sorry to hear you are suffering with your tooth, could they not do an Xray to see if there was decay in one or other of your teeth, that is so frustrating.

Do you have any cloves, put one on the area, they help to numb the area. Its a bit late now, but if there is a late night chemist they might have some clove drops or some other herbal remedy to help you.

Hope you get sorted soon there is nothing worse than being sleep deprived and having a tooth ache.

Do you by any chance have any sleeping tablets, honestly getting a nights sleep will make you better able to cope with the pain

    Hugs
