He is such a pig!!

Ok it's 9.45 and since having his tea at 6pm (a mountain of chicken and bacon pasta!) my OH has managed to get through;
1 cornetto
1 tub of potato salad
2 chocolate teacakes
1 packet of crisps
1 milky way!!!?

This is ridiculous yes?!! Or is it just because I'm sitting here watching him consume all this crap whilst I'm glugging water! It's like he's making up for the fact that I'm on a food replacement diet!

Let him continue. When you get to your goal, he'll be about 20 stone, then it'll be time for payback. He can sit and watch you eat your new healthy meals while he has to glug water and drink shakes. ;)

It does make it REALLY hard though, when I first started on exante my wife would eat packets of crisps and chocolate bars (she would have anyway), but in my head it felt like she was doing it on purpose, even though she wasn't.

I ended up giving in myself, you need to try and be disciplined and stay mentally strong too.

REMEMBER, your doing this for YOU and you CAN do this!!! :D

Don't worry I wasn't in the slightest bit jealous or tempted. Infact it made me feel a little sick! My worst time of the day is 4-6 when I'm getting everyone's tea ready etc. But as soon as I've had my 6.30 shake I am not hungry at all then until 4-6 the next day! So it didn't bother me I just couldn't believe my eyes! I like your thinking deepthought that he will be 20st soon when I'm at goal! Haha, he'll have to start exante as I'm coming off it!

Yeah my oh's the same it makes you think about your own eating habits before vlcd because you would probably be joining him with his carb fest but now you just look in utter disgust lol and sound like his mother I'm constantly saying do you really want that are you really hungry lol stop eating like a pig and they're all habits we get into night in front off the tv = munchies! I'm not going back to those habits x

Before I wouldn't think twice about eating a tube of pringles or a packet of bourbons or 4/5 doughnuts :eek:

I know it's just pure greed no wonder the price off food is so expensive the government knows we're an obese nation so once again get us where it hurts again along with fuel cigarettes alcohol now our food bills ginormous well not anymore I don't buy rubbish any more if anyone in my house wants it they buy it themselves! X

I used to eat a whole (big) tube of pringles to myself at times, lol. Then an hour later have a big piece of cake. The thought makes me feel sick now. As time goes on i'm finding that when i do 'cheat' and have a binge day on this diet, i eat less and less because i'm physically sick (shrinking stomach?). Instead of getting that nice full feeling that you normally get with a belly food of food, it just feels stretchy and uncomfortable, like an overinflated balloon.

I say the exact same things to my OH and he just laughs and goes and gets something else! This diet is not only fab for making you lose weight but also because it teaches us we don't need half of the things we usually eat- healthy or not! I think my problem was portion size at dinner time, kids were in bed, tv on and thought I would make the most of it with food! About 9 I would probably have a packet of crisps and a chocolate bar and I just can't believe I spent years doing this and thought nothing of it! I agree I shall not be returning to those terrible habits either! x

It's funny how quickly being on a diet like this not only changes the way you think about food, it also changes your relationship with food. I'm already starting to think like that and I'm only on week 2. :D
