Hi all, Just wondered if anyone is suffering heartburn on LL? I am mid-way through week 5 and seem to get this occasionally.I am drinking loads, but am taking pysllium husks as I am prone to constipation. I only use the flavourings about one teaspoon daily at most.Any ideas what may cause this and what can I take to help? Thanks x

I've had it, mainly after thai soup....
I asked my LLC and she asked the medical team.... and said i could take tablet gaviscon not liquid..... but i've heard different things as to what you can take.... so i've just put up with mine...
hope you feel better soon xx

From a huge sufferer of heartburn (esophagitis from NSAID for too many years), I surprisingly haven't had it on the diet!! It's been wonderful!

I suggest you sleep slightly elevated if you can, this used to help me quite a bit. It's surprising how much acid moves in the night to cause you problems during the day.

Ditto to the above, I've been plagued by chronic heartburn for years but the diet has allieviated my problem, its been great. Try not to have shake too near bedtime, it can lay on your chest.
