Hi everyone...I am getting married at the end of May which gives me 13 weeks (eeek) to lose just over a stone, or as close to that as I can! I've been doing SW for the last few weeks but have been brilliant half of the week, and then catastrophically bad for the rest! So this week I have decided to go all out. I'm doing it from home, as I did SW a few years ago and have all the info, plus all the new info seems to be on this site which is brilliant! I do go to the gym a couple of times a week, which I'm trying to do more of (!), but I also do socialise quite a lot - so meals and drinks out etc, which tends to be my downfall. I love reading everyone else's food diaries, and I'm really hoping that writing everything down will make me more committed!

So far this week...

Monday - Green Day
Breakfast
Low fat cottage cheese and banana (eaten together, really yummy, honest)
Melon

Lunch
2 x Chicken Mug Shots (was too hungry for just one...)
Fruit salad

Dinner
Quorn chilli and rice
2 tbsps low fat sour cream (5 syns)

Drinks
700ml skimmed milk (2 x HEA) in several cups of tea!
1L water

Total syns: 5 :D


Tuesday - Green Day
Today I was at an all day conference with a working lunch, so had to eat what was there, although wasn't too bad, and then went to watch England/Australia play netball straight after work - tried to eat something before I went but was starving and then one of the girls ordered chips...........

Breakfast
2 x WW wholemeal bread (HEB) dipped in egg, cinammon and sweetener, fried in fry light (delicious) and topped with Vanilla Mullerlilght and Blueberries and Strawberries

Lunch
Oven-baked salmon (HEB) with fresh vegetables, potatoes and salad - small amount of tarragon cream in the potatoes (5 syns)
Banana

Dinner
Low fat cottage cheese and banana
Small portion french fries (8.5 syns)
Mullerlight

Wednesday - Green Day
Another meal out tonight - this time Zizzi's so I checked out the menu beforehand but am having to have a guess at how much oil was in it - it didn't taste like very much luckily!

2 x WW wholemeal bread (HEB) dipped in egg, cinammon and sweetener, fried in fry light topped with Vanilla Mullerlight and Blueberries

Lunch
Quorn chilli and jacket potato
Handful M&S baked edamame beans (1 syn)

Dinner
Zizzi's Linguine Gamberi (HEB for 5 tiger prawns) + 1 tsp parmesan (1.5 syns) + 1 tbsp oil (unlikely that much, but to be on the safe side - 6 syns)

Drinks
350ml skimmed milk (HEA)
1L water
2 x vodka and slimline tonics (5 syns)

Saturday - Red Day
Had a bad day yesterday...was out in London with my friend in the morning, had breakfast at a cafe with very fatty bacon, and I didn't write anything down, and somehow ended up having 4 HEAs so had to syn some! Very bad. Really want to have a good week this week, and not going out anywhere so shouldn't be too hard. I also quite fancy trying EE but a bit nervous I will get it wrong....?!

Bacon, poached eggs and roasted mushrooms (had this in a cafe and even though I picked the fat off, I think 3 syns for oil)

Lunch
Tiger prawns
4 pumpkin ryvita (HEB) and 4 Laughing Cow Extra Light (4 syns)

Chicken rarebit - (really delicious, if anyone wants the recipe let me know!) (HEA for 42g low fat cheese)

A better day than yesterday (!) but dying for something sweet so going to have some Skinny Cow Strawberry Cheesecake Frozen Yogurt very soon! Also, went shopping today, and so pleased to see Sainsburys now stock Mug Shots!

Are you using syns for your prawns as you've had your 2 hebs? They are not high in syns so you shouldn't be over your allowance. Looks good otherwise.

Thursday - Red Day
Had a hard day at work and popped out to meet some work friends for a drink...and they'd already ordered me a large glass of wine even though I've given it up for lent! Eeeeeek. Obviously I drank it and then squeezed in a couple of vodkas, so not the best day....will be really good today to make up for it!

Saturday - Red day
Had a really bad day yesterday...I had chips from a restaurant on a red day....ooooops, never mind the wine etc. Still, I really really wanted them, and enjoyed every last mouthful, so I'm hoping as I didn't then to succumb to popcorn at the cinema and write off the entire day (!) I should hopefully be able to pull it back in the next few days, although I'm off to Newquay for 4 days next weekend so it's going to be hard to be 100% on plan.

Chicken breast filled with 2 LCEL (2) and wrapped in bacon with salad

200g Ribeye steak with green beans and chips (30? - although I have no idea how many syns really, I probably had about 20 chips, and they were proper chips not little skinny ones)
1 175ml glass red wine (6)

Big mistake today...got a soup from Crussh which I thought would be syn-free on Green but when I'd eaten it I checked the syns and it was 10! Won't be having that again....
WI later today - feeling very nervous about it after my blip on Saturday and only 2 months to go til the wedding, eeeek.

Well, I had a long weekend in Newquay with a friend, and whilst I stuck to the principles of SW 95% of the time, I did drink quite a few vodka tonics, and had a kebab one night....eeeeeek! I have written down everything I ate, but not going to put it in here as too difficult to work out the syn values in any way accurately. BUT, weigh in this morning and I lost 2.5lbs somehow! Really hoping the bad weekend doesn't catch up with me next week....
