Very new here - although I have played in the arcade for a while!!

Very recent quitter of smoking and have piled on the pounds. Always struggled with my weight but have been able to stabilise over the years. Since quitting I have gained a stone and then checked on my BMI and I am far too high. Never realised how the weight had crept on prior to the quit.

Have ordered both the tablets and book today from Boots and some new scales!

Will be watching this forum with interest to see how others are doing.

Hi Lady_P welcome.. I'm starting out too, waiting on my tablets should be able to start in the next few days, have been preparing by swapping to a low fat diet, amazing how many low fat labelled things still aren't really!

Am planning to stick to the <5g of fat per 100g & <15g per meal... as everyone is recommending.

Good luck, let me know when you're starting we can keep each other going!
